Amazon Kindle Scribe (2025): Two-minute reviewI’ve used the 2024 release of the Kindle Scribe (2nd generation) for two years and I’ve loved every minute of it. I didn’t think there was a better E Ink display to write on (and read on for that matter) and I definitely didn’t think it could be improved. Yet that’s exactly what Amazon has done with the 2025 (3rd generation) Kindle Scribe with frontlight. The epaper display is still one of the best to read and write on, but it looks even brighter and, indeed, it is bigger, with 11 inches of screen real estate to use. That’s fantastic for note-taking and drawing, but unnecessary for a device that also doubles up as an ereader. Despite the additional height, the 3rd generation Kindle Scribe is both marginally thinner and lighter than its predecessor, but it is hard to hold in the hand for long periods…
